We woke up at 9am and informed Greg.
He went to prepare breakfast for us immediately~

He also explained to us that because of bird flu in Taiwan, it is not safe to eat uncooked eggs.
He chat with us for awhile before he headed back to the pharmacy.
After breakfast we checked out and catch our direct bus to Taipei.
Bid good bye to the nicest host and the 3 cats.
One of the cat held onto P's leg and refused to let go.

We then ahead straight to Shuishe Visitor Centre (水社遊客中心).
Took 國光客運 (NT440) which we purchased the ticket 1 day before.
The whole journey took about 4 hours.
When we reached Taipei we were famished. x.x
Please grab some food to eat on the way there.
We stayed at Good9stay for the rest of our 9D8N in Taipei.

After we checked in, we ran to the nearest food joint near to our home stay.

It is actually squid thick soup.
Recommended in a lot of travel books, this bowl of thick soup is really the best!
We ordered a bowl to share. (Without noodles)
I like how they give you 2 extra pieces of squid when you opt out for noodles.
After we finally got something in our tummy, we went to Shilin night market.
Do note that Shilin N/M is at Jiantan station.
I kept telling people that. Lol.
Our first cup of Ai-yu jelly drink.
Taste more like lime juice -.- (From some random store)
Our first stop is Shilin basement food court.

We loved the T-bone steak here!
Used to be NT250, one year later it's NT280~
After that, we walked around and spotted this shop with a long queue.
Normally this type of roll is wrapped with bacon.
But this store uses beef instead.
The shop owner is like a radio on replay.
Keep repeat pi pi pi-ing that his food is very innovative.
Hahaha and so we bought 3 pieces to try.
Too tough for our liking.
Our BBQ favorite mushroom store!
Usually after BBQ the mushroom is dry and tasteless.
But the mushroom from this store is juicy and filled with buttery taste!
Ordered the usual : Pepper with seaweed flavor.
It's by weight so it's kinda pricey. (around NT80 for 1 mushroom)
Also tried almond tea.
The after taste is very strong and we don't like it.
This is similar to the fried bird eggs from Bangkok.
With bbq sauce.
Taste quite good but I can't say the same about my cholesterol.
This corn is very disgusting.
Completely tasteless and powdery.
We didn't expect that and bought 2 which we then throw away.
After which we head back to XiMenDing.
Had an early night as we spent too much time traveling.
Woke up the next morning and had Ay-chung mee sua!

It is better because plastic bowl is very hot to hold on to.

Craving for salmon thus we went to have a few plates at Sushi Express located near WuFenPu.
Some street food on the way.
Then we had lunch at Formosa Chang (鬍鬚張)
Best shit ever.
I need to have 1 bowl of Ru Rou Fan right now.
After eating a lot, we walked around Wu Fen Pu to digest.
Didn't take any picture as I am too busy shopping and P is too busy holding them.
Nothing much to buy as it was winter season.

We placed all our loots back at Good9Stay and went to XiMenDing area for dinner.
Da Chang Bao Xiao Chang 大腸包小腸 (Big sausage wrap small sausage)
The big sausage is actually glutinous rice. I really thought it was a bigger sausage.
Imagine my disappointment after my first bite. LOL.
P loved it tho.
I always wanted to try the shaved ice but we were usually too full for it.
Today I finally persuade P to eat it with me. Yay!

Ordered mango shaved ice.
Huge disappointment!
As it was not mango season, the mango tasted very raw and sour(with the green after taste).
Mega yucks!
And it was very expensive also.
After the shaved ice we nearly freeze to death so we went back to Good9Stay and had an early night.
