CNY gathering with lovables.

Steamboat again~ But this time with my lovables.
Decided to try Xian De Lai recommended by GF.

Xian De Lai 鲜得来
18 Liang Seah Street
Tel: 63367505
Operating Hours
Daily: 11:30 - 14:30
Daily: 16:30 - 03:00

Unlike the one I had with P, where we get to pick up our food at the stations.
This requires you to make an order with them.

Which really sucks big time.
Because when you tick prawns, they only give you 3 small ones. -.-

And again, herbal chicken and hot & spicy soup base.
I'm so thankful that they invented this type of pot.
So I don't have to make my friends or P take herbal chicken with me.

Very limited choices. This is almost all the food on the menu.

The food is not mad nice nor fresh.
We only ordered 2 rounds and stop ordering.
Wanted to try the ready made food.
So we picked fried chicken (sounds good right?)

And here you go, this is it.

LIKE, FML RIGHT?
After all the waiting, we got served this type of food.

And it was expensive as well.
Cost $29.90 for a weekday dinner.

Will never visit the shop again.

On a side note, I got a lot of cheap deals from E-tude house.

Bought toner, nails sticker/polish and eye shadows.
I got all together for less than $20.
Shiok or shiok?

Build A Love.

Accompanied GF to build a bear for her boy as Valentine's Day present.

Build-A-Bear
http://www.buildabear.com.sg

We visited the outlet at Plaza Sing as it was nearest to our work place.
For people who have not build your own bear before, this is a spoiler post.

First we were asked to choose a bear. (You don't say)

GF chose the first bear on the picture.
Yes, the most colourful one for her boy.
The bear alone is $34.90 already.

You get to choose a "skin" and then bring the skin to another station to fill it up.

Right here you get to choose to fill your bear the way you like it.
If you want it to be soft, of cos you don't put so much cotton la.
GF decided to make her bear hard so it can stand up.

Before the bear is sew up, you get to choose a heart for it.
You have to kiss the heart and say mushy stuffs.

After the bear is sewed up, you get to clean it at the "bath tub" with a brush.
And you're done! What's left are picking up the clothes and shoes for the bear.

GF & I are big Hello Kitty fans.
So we basically targeted all the HK stuffs and try it on the bear.
Felt so childish LOL.

First thing first, underwear~
And of cos, HK panties for the bear! Hahaha!

Wide range to choose from.
From casual to formal to cosplay.

We are really into this HK sneaker.
But GF wanted to make her bear look more atas thus formal looking.

Hello, Kitty!

After trying on different clothes and shoes,
TADA! Her bear is ready to be "born".

Finally, you'll have to create the birth certificate of the bear.
GF named her bear XMM (Little Girl in Chinese).
And the D.O.B is on Valentine's Day. ^^

No kidding man, this bear is mad expensive.

Shades - $6.90
HK handbag - $12.90
Dress - $24.90
Boots - $16.90

The person also managed to phyco GF into buying a voice recorder($9.90) and some ribbons($8.90) in the end.

The bill come out to $120!!!!!
*Faints*

Just when we thought it was over and was about to leave when GF paid,
The person ask GF to say a vow.

"I promise to love my bear blah blah." - goes on for 1 min.

This place seriously treat us like 3 years old despite our actual age.
But overall it was a pretty good experience to build a bear with your love.

Wishing GF and her boy a very happy advance Valentine's. (:

Zhong Hua Steamboat.

Date with P.
Went to fill our tummy with yummy sushi @ Sushi Express.

After lunch we had red mango yogurt.
They have 1 for 1 discount for every Saturday.

And he present me with a beautiful gift. (:

When it's near to the Chinese New Year season, we will be cravings for steamboats.

Today we decided to try out a shop located at Steamboat Street. (Liang Seah Street, Bugis)

Zhong Hua Steamboat (中华火锅,拉面)

Address : 95 Beach Road 01-01, Singapore, Singapore 189699
Tel : 6337 1655
Operating hours : 10am - 5am Daily

We chose this mainly because of the good review I read online.
Didn't disappoint! Good food.
I'll suggest to make a reservation with them earlier or you'll have to sit beside the road.

We chose herbal chicken & mala(spicy) soup base.
I don't take spicy food, so I didn't try the mala soup.
P said it's extremely spicy but awesome.

Luckily they provide their customers with a box of tissue.
P almost finished the whole box LOL.

We were asked to move into the shop when we were halfway through eating.
Was seated beside the kitchen this time.

No complains as the food is really good.
Worth every cents.
Spent $22 each for a weekend dinner.

Free flow of drinks, dessert and some ready made finger foods.
Wide choices of seafood and vegetables.

Today is all good. :)

4th Anniversary Trip to KL Day Three

Today is our last day in KL.
Soon we will be back to our busy working life.

Here, see the dirty lift.
P actually managed to nudge the walls of the lift and it goes shaking non-stop.
Not sure if safe. -.-

We visited the Shopping center located next to our hotel.
The place is quite run down and there is nothing for us.
The only thing we did there is to have lunch.

Chose pizza hut.

P's seafood pasta. Extremely oily.

My pizza, not exactly amazing either.

We ordered a platter to share other than our set meals.

Food isn't good, didn't managed to finish everything.

After lunch we headed back to the airport.

P said he actually prefer changing from trains to monorail rather than taking a cab.
It feels more like traveling. Lol.

Chilled at the airport Mac & Starbucks while waiting for our plane.

Hello Singapore, good to be home again.
Sigh, back to work.
