Taipei 2013 - Day Seven (实在好湾)

Today is the 7th day as well as our last day in Taipei.
This good city has given us very pleasant memories.
We will be back again soon!

No ootd as we didn't bother to dress up for the last day.
Went to have the awesome steamboat we had previously.
Unlike weekdays, on weekend we only get 1.5 hours to eat.

And the queue was horrible.
We had to sit outside and wait for people to finish up their 1.5 hours before we can get a seat.
So it's best to make a reservation on weekends.

We didn't get to enjoy the food as much as the first time as there were too many people and we wasted a lot of time queuing for the food and waiting for it to boil.
And before we know it, the person asked us to leave. :(

Went to buy our last cup of bubble tea.
Everything sounded so sad when it's "the last".

After that we chilled at the KFC to wait for our transfer back to airport.
Like shit man the bus broke down for some reason and we were afraid that we might miss our flight.

Thankfully we were able to reach the airport 1 hour before check in.
So we went to a Sanrio shop at the airport to finish our cash.

After that we sat at the almost empty terminal where there are chairs which you can lie down in.

Planning to place our wedding photo in this frame.
This cost near to SGD20.

And the nails sticker at SGD2.50 each.

Goodbye Taipei.
See you again.

Taipei 2013 - Day Six (实在好湾)

Today is the second last day of our Taiwan Trip, as well as P's birthday!
Happy 23rd baby! :)
Hope you enjoyed everything I've planned for you.

Actually I planned the day more like for myself.
Hahaha what a self centered gf.

First stop to Zhong Xiao Fu Xing station, where HELLO KITTY SWEETS cafe is located.
FYI you have to call days in advance to book a seat.
Walk in will not be entertained.

Hello Kitty Sweets
Website : www.hellokittysweets.com.tw
Tel : (02) 2711-1132
Operating hours : 11:30 - 22:00

Once you walked out of the station, you will see SOGO.
You'll see the sign to the cafe.

I AM SO HAPPY.
P keep taking pictures for me and I nearly forget it's his birthday. :D

LOOK AT THE CAKES!!!!
I took the pictures together with the price.

Wanted to order ALL of them but its just too sweet.
I couldn't finish everything.

Okay, here's one for the birthday boy.

Kawaii shop with kawaii waitress.
The kawaii level in this shop is too damn high.

It was a big disappointment actually.

A lot of item in their menu are no longer available.

And most of them are the items I wanted to try.

Wanted to order the set lunch but they have really limited choice thus we ordered dessert instead.

The cute menu.

The complimentary mango pudding.

LOL. P is like, dafaq am I doing here.
Everything is too cute for him.
He need to go out to kill a bear to be manly again after this meal.

*pokes*
He went ahead and destory Hello kitty face. =_=

My strawberry ice blended taste like sweet and fking sweet.

P's chocolate Oreo milkshake.
Taste much better.

Everything is too sweet (literary) and we couldn't finish them.

So the place is actually more photo worthy than food worthy.
There is a minimum spending of NT300 (SGD12.50) per person.
I spent NT836 (SGD34.80) in total. Price quite reasonable.

The female's toilet is so nice and according to P, the male toilet looks like a normal toilet.

After the sweetness overload, we took the MTR to Taipei Zoo station!

It's hard to believe that there is actually a station for the zoo.
The place is so HUGE!
We regretted not coming over earlier as we were not able to cover the whole Zoo.

Cute lamp post is cute.

The zoo ticket is very cheap at NT60.
But with youth card, it's only NT30!!! (SGD1.25)
There are a lot of animals and it's so freaking cheap!

I don't see why anyone would miss visiting the Zoo when you're in Taipei!

Where else could you buy a Mac Spicy meal with coins? Taipei!

There are so many animals which we couldn't see in the Singapore Zoo.
The place is spacious and clean.

One reason why we didn't have time to see all the animals is because we spent too much time at this place that sells fossil.
P is mad fascinated by the fossils display and refused to leave.

Gwang Soo. Lol.

Like hell I'll spend so much money on a piece of stone. =_=

What is the different between monkey and apes?
Monkey has tail. :D

HUK?!
P and I were to surprise to see a tiger so near to us for the first time.
Although there's a layer of glass but still I don't feel safe. Hahaha.

The item selling in the stalls are mad reasonable.
You can find 50 cents drinks.
Unlike Singapore Zoo selling one bottle of drinks for $3-5. =_=

We skipped the bird's section.
Noisy and smelly animals.

All the animals are up close and they moved around a lot.
So it's interesting to see them moving around instead of them sleeping.

King Kong #likeaboss
So handsome hahaha.

I like to move it move it.

We visited only about 60% of the zoo and the announcement asked us to leave. :(

Hello snake.
I took a pretty neat photo #selfpraise

EWW!! Looks dead until it tried to swim away from that corner.

We took the tram at NT5 to get back to the entrance.
Why everything so cheap, WHY!!!

I'm still a bit reluctant to leave the Zoo, so we went in the shop at the exit to see if we could get something.

We ended up taking neoprints.
It's really cheap, at NT50(SGD2) only!

And we said good bye to the Taipei Zoo. :(

Then we headed back to WuFenPu wholesale market.
Tried the famous Ru Rou Fan there.
It's pretty easy to spot. Right outside the station at HouSanPi.

So regretted not coming here earlier!
They served the best mined meat rice (Ru Rou Fan) here!

It's soooooooo good and we ended up ordering twice of everything!
Hahaha!

Om nom nom nom.
After dinner we went to spend as much as we can on clothes.

And we went back to XiMenDing for a movie.
Watched Iron Man 3!

Movie in Taiwan is pretty expensive.
I spent NT600(SGD25) for two tickets.

But then again maybe it's not.
Because the package comes with a big popcorn and 2 drinks.

Loots of Day 6.
