Hong Kong 2014 - Day Six (Macau)

Headed to Kai Kee Restaurant located next to our Inn, recommended by one of the staff from Homy Inn.

The choice is limited and we decided to go with the Set Meal of the day.
P took set A and I took set C.

P took ice coffee while I had ice lemon tea. Had I not already mentioned I love the ice lemon tea in Hong Kong?

P's roasted mixed meat. With roasted chicken, duck and sausages together with half a salted egg and some vege.
We didn't like it. It tasted very plain, dry and boring.
Not recommended.

My cheesy pork chop.
Taste pretty decent, not fantastic but much better than P's set.

After the disappointing breakfast, we walked to the ferry terminal.
MTR Tsim Sha Tsui Station, Exit A1

It is advisable to get both the to and fro tickets together.

PRO - You don't have to queue at macau ferry terminal for it.
         - Don't have to worry that the ferry ticket is sold out.
(Happened to one of my friend, the whole family had to spend a night there because apparently ALL the tickets were sold out.)

CON - You have to shorten your visit and rush back to the ferry terminal in case you miss your ferry.

There is a mini shop inside the ferry. :D
But we already bought snacks at the terminal so we didn't visit the mini shop.

P got me this. Hello Kitty bag. Cost near to SGD 10 each.
There is a piece of chewing gum inside the "bag".
And it taste like shit by the way.

Unless you're a die hard kitty fan, I think this shit is really over-priced. (I bought 2 LOL)

Some people thinks that Hong Kong and Macau is the same country.
Therefore they did not bring their passport and got stopped at the immigration area. -.-

When we got out of the terminal, there are at least 382863826 cabs waiting for you.
We opt for the free shuttle bus option.

There were a list of shuttle bus waiting in line and we just hop on to one.
The shuttle bus services are provided by the hotels to attract people to their casino.

And yes, the bus dropped us right in front of the Casino entrance.

The whole place smells like cigarette honestly.
But the bell boy at the main gate is very nice, he asked where are we headed and pointed us toward it.

Our first and only stop is to visit St. Paul.

Along the way there are a lot of shops.
But the only shops that we shows interest in are shops that sells food. Lol~

Yup, Hot Star XXL chicken in Macau! Woohoo!(:

People mountain people sea.
Just follow the flow, and after a few min walk you can see St. Paul

The whole place were filled with tourist.
People around you will ask you to take a picture for them.

Lol thanks thick clothing, for making me look fat.

Honestly I am quite disappointed. After all we spent so much money and time to travel here just to see a piece of wall. :x
I might never want to visit Macau again.

The museum is underground and is quite small.
We covered the whole area in less than 10 mins.

We didn't take any picture inside.

After we left St.Paul, we went to buy a lot of food back for relatives and friends.
Lao Gong Bing (Salty) Lao Po Bing (Sweet) and some other cookies.

They allowed people to go around sampling the food.
We ate a lot and enjoyed everything, so we ended up buying 2-3 boxes of everything.

Also, if you are there, do try the portuguese egg tart.
It is super yummy!
I actually intend to get a box to bring home but the egg tart does not have any shelf life. ):

Another must try food in Macau is the pork cutlet bun.
We think it's over rated and their milk tea sucks.

There is a Naraya outlet there!
But it is of cos more expensive than it is in BKK.

After we left the shop we headed back to one of the hotel to take the shuttle bus back to the ferry terminal.
And guess what, you need a BUS TICKET this time round.

Like whatttttttttt!?
You need to gamble and get a bus ticket from any of the gambling table.

We didn't gamble but we managed to get 2 tickets from a guy at the table.
We would have missed our ferry -.-

Back in Hong Kong.

When we touched down, we went to buy random snacks back to the inn to eat.
This is seriously one of the best curry fishball I've eaten!

There were pig skin, radish and fish balls in it!
SLURPS.

Decided to get food from this store next to our inn as a lot of people was queuing for it.
In fact there are just too many people in Hong Kong. Therefore almost every shop is crowded. LOL.

Fried food - You get to choose them and place them inside a bowl and they will fried it for you.
The foods on sticks are Siew Mai and pig stomach.

Nothing is nice. ):

From left to right - P's hairy leg, pig intestine, bacon wrapped sausage, octopus and fish ball.
Except for the bacon thing and fish balls, the rest are pretty hard to chew on. :x

I am still hungry because we didn't finish everything.
So we went to the 7-11 to buy more food.

And I also wanted to complete this card to get a hello kitty. (:

Out of 24, I told P there is only 1 design that I don't like.
So I was feeling hopeful and when I open the box,

And...

IT IS THE ONE AND ONLY FUCKING SHIT I DISLIKE.
FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU

Who is more suay then me!?!?
FML.

Bought curry fish ball from the 7-11 because the one I had previously is making me crave for more.
Too bad 7-11's one is not up to that standard. ):

The last night of our trip.
Can't wait to get back to Singapore.
