Ice skating!

Both P & I took leave today.
Decided to go Jcube and ice skate!

Ate my favorite oyster omelette at the market near P's place for lunch.
Then we took bus to Jcube.

The Rink

Website : http://www.therink.sg/

Brought our own gloves and socks so we bought "Combo F".
Which is entry + skating boot for $17.50 each.

Gloves and socks are selling at $2 each FYI.

Tried on this fucking uncomfortable boots.
I ended up changing to a bigger size because the boots are too hard.

P's virgin trip on ice. HAHA.
Looking funny.

P's holding my hand when he fell for the first time.
And I fell too. -.-

I fell on the knee and the ice cut both my knee and it bled.

Ikr, friends telling me I deserve it for wearing shorts.
But I'm pretty good at it and am confident that I'll never fall.

After that I refuse to hold his hand anymore. :x
And poor guy fell again.

He landed on his elbow this time.

After getting injured all over, 2 hours time is up and we went to buy slurpee.
Cold die us.

Shopped for a bit and went for dinner.

Fun day out although I had marks on my legs now.
And blister from the stupid boots.

But still, cheers to the good thing in life!
Happy 44th.

Night Safari 2012

Met up with P at AMK for dinner.
Had a quick dinner @ popeyes.

Took bus 138 to the Night Safari.
Journey took more than half an hour.
Much longer than what I've expected.

Reached there around 8pm and there is this massive long queue.
Mainly because of the 1 for 1 deal.

$32 for entry & tram but with the deal it's only $16 per person.
Treated P there. :)

After queuing for more than an hour it's finally our turn.
Just in time to catch the last animal show at 9.30pm. -.-

Animal show is short but funny because of the guests.

600 seats. Full house.

Board the tram after the show and it last for 45 mins.
The tram is seriously the best part of all.

P & I on the tram exactly 3 years ago in Night safari.
LOL. Lousier camera and P with kuku hair.
I look the same. Young sia. LOL.
Night Safari 2009

It was a windy night with full moon.
I have night blindness, which makes it a bit hard for me to spot small animals in the dark.

Flash photography is not allow,
Thus the quality of the pictures.

Finished the rest of the journey on foot and took the last tram back to the entrance.
Last tram reached station at 12am sharp.

P and I took the bus back to AMK for supper and bought a few snacks at 7-11.

Cabbed home and immediately knock off.

Barossa @ Esplanade

Bought the online deals online with P sometime around June.

The beef buffet was around $43.90++ per person.
But with the deal it's less than $50 for 2 person. :D!!!

P meet up with me at my train station & we headed to the esplanade ~

We ordered one of each because we wanted to try everything. :x
And presenting..

The 4 sauces.

Red wine, mushroom, blue cheese and honey mustard.
Personally I like red wine & P love the mushroom one.

The other two taste way too weird.
Here comes the main lead...

T-bone steak! One of the best part of the beef, ever!

It was tender and just plain awesome.
Wanted to order a second serving but was afraid that we couldn't finish it. :(

Next up, Wagyu D Rump.

Tough and a bit tasteless.

Braised beef cheek!

P refused to try it because he find the part disgusting -.-
But it is actually super soft, like really soft, melt in your mouth that type of soft.

And lastly, prime rib eye.

Tough and tasteless.

Overall, 3/5.
Not everything is nice, and most of the food is cold.

Side dish was slightly better.
P had 2 bowls of the salad.

The mushroom is really good, had 4 plates of them LOL.
Craving for them right now again.

Ended the date after a short stroll along the riverbank.

:)
