M(a)ki-San - Sushi · Salad (NETT PRICE)

M(a)ki-San is located a The Cathay.
(Nearest MRT station : Dhoby Ghuat)

Design your own sushi & Salad!
I'm not a fan of salad so we tried creating our own sushi.

We grabbed a form to fill up.

We decided to go with LITTLE-SAN -$7.90
(1 Wrap + 1 Rice + 3 Essentials + 1 Sprinkle + 1 House Sauce)

We had a hard time deciding what shall go with what.
In the end we gave up and just go with anything we like.

Side Note - You can fry your sushi at an additional price of $1.50
But it is only for Cathay outlet from 12-5pm.

Our choice : Traditional Seaweed Wrap + Japanese White Rice
Roasted mushroom + Steamed Ebi + Kani Stick(Crab Stick)
Turkey Bacon Bits
BBQ sauce.

I know. It's weird x weird.
Then we proceeded to pay up at the cashier.

Our order in the making.
We were actually pretty worried it might turn out to be meh-ish.

Every order comes with 1 packet of wasabi & 2 packets of soya sauce.
You can top up $1 for a can drink.

The end product. It actually taste pretty damn good.
And we have no idea why.
The box is beautiful.

Food : 4/5
Price : 3/5 (Slightly expensive)

Casual Outdoor Photoshoot

We signed up a wedding photography package with WMA at $1,680 NETT.

It was a great deal which includes;

10 hours Photography (Actual day)
6 hours Cinematography (Actual day)

And 3 others Complimentary Services. We've chosen the followings;

1) 1 additional hours of Photography (Actual day)
2) Cartoon Illustration Poster (A1 size)
3) 1hour Casual Photography

We booked a few months earlier for our 1hour Casual Photography.
Decided to go back to where we first met, Republic Poly for the shoot.

Rented a short gown from our bridal shop, which is inclusive in our package.
They even threw in a hand bouquet that matches my gown.

P's best man, Bern, was supposed to be in charged of our helium balloon. But he lost it on the way there.
So no balloons for the shoot. *Sad Face*

Our photographer is Andy, a very nice guy who is very creative and friendly.
Instead of an hour, he spent 1 and a half hour taking our pictures. (A total of 118 photos)
And he keep asking, still got any places you want to go?

The best part is, he is done with editing within a week!
We got 56 photos back.

Here are some of the photos, enjoy.

Who knows a campus can look so dreamy?
Thanks Andy!

49 SEATS - Restaurant · Beer garden (NETT PRICE)

49 seats is located in between Outram park and Chinatown.
We took a 10 mins walk there from Chinatown MRT station. (Nearest MRT station : Outram Park Exit H)

Hopped there with 2 other friends.

Ice lemon tea - $3
Doesn't taste home made. So I wouldn't rate it. Lol.

Cheese fries - $7.90
The cheese fries are soooo good.
Normally I would have a lot of fries left with no more cheese sauce.
But in the case, I have cheese sauce left with no more fries. (4/5)

Smoke duck aglio olio - $10.90
I don't really like the smoke duck. Too tough to chew on.
But the shiitake mushroom is fresh and good. (3/5)

Total Damage $16.50 per person (No service charge & GST)
You have to pay for the food when you ordered them at the cashier.
The queue is very long to make the order. But luckily we made a reservation so we don't have to queue for a seat too.
