Hello Kitty Town

Disclaimer : You're about to read the shit review about Hello Kitty Town.

Planned this trip months ago as a birthday gift from P.
Am anticipating an awesome time there.
But nopeeeeee.

The day started sweet with sweet surprises from P.

We traveled with Traveller 101.
It's a package that cost $69 for coach + kitty town + little big world tickets.

Had a hard time looking for the stand at Newton Food Center.
Board the bus with free seating.
One thing I hate about free seating is that if you take your time to board the bus, you will most probably get a shit place.

The bus is filled with kids and it was an annoying journey.
The tour guild on bus told us that the place is actually built for kids of age 6-10. -.-

And true enough, when we reached there, there were nothing for us to do.
The rides are for kids and so is the program.

At the main entrance, most of the shops are not opened.
The only place available is the Sanrio shop selling pretty expensive stuffs.

I brought my DSLR but didn't bring the memory card.
Awesome. :)
So all the photos were taken via S3.

We were really hungry and the cafe doesn't sell main meal.
Most of them were snacks.
There were no money changer.
I mean how bad can my trip be right?

P forget to exchange currency but thankfully they accept Visa.
We got a chicken puff, two sandwiches and 3 bottles of soft drinks.
Costed us RM30.50 (Note: Visa is only accepted for purchases over RM30)

We were given a red card with stations.
And for every station we visited, we have to stamp the card.
We can only visit each place once. -.-

The place is so small and crowded!
With only 5 attractions.
VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING.

The performance started as soon as we stepped inside the premises.
I was kinda disappointed with what I've seen.
I mean the show is for kids, but it's too ... lame even for them.
Couldn't force myself to watch it. So we went off after 5mins.

Went to [Black Wonder] first.
It's the only thing that is entertaining enough for us.
I love it! The only thing I enjoyed there!

How it works:

We were given a lamp and we will be given a quest depending on the amount of correct answers you provided for the Q&A.
I'm proud to say I got all the right answer.
*proud childish face*

Then we will proceed to a maze.
We need to get out asap.
We only took 9 seconds.
*EVEN PROUDER FACE*

This is our sign. We need to look out for this sign and get the letter with it.
Then we have to gather 5 letters and make a word out of it.

Stage 1 : We found our sign together with the letter "C"
We were told it's the last letter of the word.

Stage 2 : P had a hard time looking for the sign and I found it ^^
The first letter of the word is "M"

Stage 3 : We need to look for our sign and place our hands inside the barrel to "feel" the letter.

I'll save the details for the rest of the letters.
Because I bet you it's the only thing you're going to enjoy.
Don't want to spoil the one and only fun part of that place.

Devil Kitty's trap.

It's so fun and P wanted to try looking for the other words.
But unfortuantly like I've said, we are only allowed to visit each place once.

The next place we visited was Hello Kitty's house.

Err, the place sucks.
Doesn't look like the real Hello Kitty's house at all.
I was expecting to step into the similar house in the cartoons.
But nopeeee. ZZZ x 1000000.

Honestly speaking, it's just a place with hello kitty's products.
Like that my room also Hello Kitty Town le. -.-

And then my phone gave up on me.
Not a single batt is left that day.
So that's all for pictures.

I skipped the rest of the place and went to Little Big World.
Trust me, IT IS EVEN LOUSIER THEN WHAT HK TOWN ALREADY WAS.

Didn't even touch any single rides and went out of the building.
Went to a nearby cafe to have lunch.

After lunch I've decided to give another attraction another try.
BAD CHOICE.
Chose the "Nails don't know what shit place"

After 1.5 hours of waiting,
I was greeted by a few bottle of nails polish.

TELL ME HOW THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT EVEN FUN.
Shit place, no joke.
Go if you enjoy wasting money and time.

The trip ended with a complimentary dinner.
Awkward shit, have to dine with a group of strangers.

Bought this photo for $12. Not fking either.
But for the sake of having something to remember with, P bought it for me.

PS: The photographer's skills kns.

Rocku @ Bugis+

Met up with P after he knock off from work.
Went to pray at a temple @ Bugis and then we headed for lunch.

Went to Iluma, now named Bugis+
Walked around the food area located at Level 4 of the building.

Past by ROCKU and they are having 1 for 1 promotion.
Decided to give it a try.

ROCKU
201 Victoria Street
#04-06 Bugis+
Singapore 188067

Food : 3.5/5 (Too salty)
Service : 2.5 (Too slow, keep forgetting orders, wasted my drink)
Choice of food : Very little
Place : Too dark
Website : https://www.facebook.com/ROCKU.sg

Spent $45 for two person.

Definitely not worth the money if I were to go on a normal days.
Given another chance I'll not want to go back.
You can check out the facebook page for other promotions.

The place is designed to look somewhat like a pub.

Will minimum light, I could not even see if my food is cooked.

The pathetic choice of food.

Menu is in Japanese & chinese.
Difficult to understand, waitress don't bother to explain.

We ordered one of each since there are nothing much to order.

And only 1/3 of the food arrived. -.-
We had to re-order and some of the food didn't reach us again.

Mineral water is sold at $3 per bottle.

And the bottle is not even 500ml type.

The food is very salty, so water is necessary.

I suggested that you can purchase the soft drinks @ $4.50 as it is refillable.

The stupid waiter came over to refill my mineral water with 7-up.

I placed the bottle beside my cup so they will know that it's mineral water I'm drinking.
And guess what? He bring my cup filled with the mineral water and pour it away.
Didn't even bothered to compensate me with another bottle.

DUDE, I paid $3 for you to pour it away.

Fuck you.

These are the minimum amount of food we got for the whole 2 damn hours.

We only get to try the pork and the beef.
Prawn, mushroom and corn. -.-
Do you seriously think this amount of food is worth my $50?

But to be fair everything taste good.

Food is fresh, just too salty.

After we leave the place we went to look for drinks.

Spent 15 mins waiting for the bill.

Overall : 2/5

Bad dining experience.

Trip to BKK 2012 - Day Three

We skipped breakfast in hotel today because of the horrible experience yesterday.
Headed out straight to pratunam fashion mall once again!
We left our luggage with the hotel staffs.

We are trying to buy the stuffs we missed on Day One.
And the main reason is to finish the remaining baht.

Went to the wholesale market but didn't get anything.
Clothes there are made with lousier material and the design is...not acceptable.

Had the most expensive food for our trip.
Red Mango yogurt. Around $GD8+ for a cup.
But the cup is huge. LOL.

Worth it. Totally worth it.

I just grab everything in sight, some I don't even remember what.
And I'll keep checking with P, "how much more do we have?"
Then i speed across the mall, spot something, pay and dash off.

After nearly almost 5 hours, we finally went for lunch~

After lunch at the food court, we went back to the hotel.
This is when I get the biggest shock in my life.

Our hotel staffs yelled at us. (Cause they are concern hahaha)
Asked why are we late for our airport transfer and we are going to miss the plane.
I was puzzled. The tour guild asked us to reach the hotel before 4pm for the bus.

We was there at 3.45pm.
But right on the hotel airport transfer list, we were supposed to be there at 3pm. O.O
And the next transfer is at 4pm. If there were traffic jam, we couldn't reach the airport on time.

And true enough, we missed the flight. -.-
FUCK YOU FUCKING TOUR GUILD THAT CHEAT OUR 200 BAHT.
YOUR SERVICE SUCKS LIKE SHIT.

We were put on the other flight, thank goodness.
Our luggage exceed 3.5kg but they let us off. Lol. Nice service.

And I noticed something. O.o
Someone actually opened our luggage number lock.
Thankfully we uses double lock. The number lock & a padlock.
The person who tried to open both the luggage only managed to open the keypad.

As the luggage is left in a open space in the lobby, where strangers can gain excess to it anytime,
it is very unsafe to left your luggage with the hotel.
If you choose to leave them behind, please double lock it.

I HATE BKK.
Full of scammer, thief, robber and unfriendly people.
Of cos there were nicer people, but they are like 10% of the whole population.

Unpleasant trip, don't feel like going back again.

Airport.

After checking in, we settle down for dinner at a ramen shop.
Food was normal, serving speed is okay.
But service fucking sucks. :(
Spend around $GD50 for the food.

They got a problem.
The whole shop is in a mess.
Some waitress is too free, while some are too busy.

We asked for the bill and a guy rushed over to take the money from us.
Then took forever to return us our change.

When we walked out of the shop after finally, a bitch shouted at us.
Saying "EH! YOU NEED TO PAY YOU KNOW?!?!"

You don't say bitch? You mean before you teach us about paying, the food in shops are free?
Shut the fuck up you uneducated whore.

I honestly dislike people who raise their voice at me.
If you don't respect me, you're going to get the finger from me.

This make me dislike BKK even more.

After 3 hours plus of flight, we finally touch down in Singapore.
So good to be home. Where I can walk around at night and return home in one piece.

We bought Mac as supper and cabbed back.

My crazy loots.

P's one and only loot for the day.
Poor him, have to carry everything for me and hardly anytime for him to buy anything.

I'm really thankful to have P with me for this trip.
Protecting me and taking extremely good care of me.
Making sure I enjoyed myself fully while not complaining of the weight of my loots.
