Trip to KL 2012 - Day One

Booked our tour package to KL with WTS Travels.
Paid $175 each for Coach and 4* Furama hotel.

Bus departure is at Singapore Flyer @9am.

P and I took circle line and reached there in no time.
Had breakfast at Ya kun and board the bus.

To my dismay, the coach does not have a tv.
The bus was quite run down, back seats packed with cartons and most of the seats were with broken handles.
We were in the bus with 3 other couples.

Thankfully we get to transfer to another bus which was in better condition.
But still, no tv.
Luckily I downloaded lots of new games on my S3.

Bus stopped at Yong Ping and we had quick lunch.
Reached Furama Hotel 5 hours later from departure.

Went ahead to check in, and guess what?
Our agency FAILED to tell us that a 200RM is required as a deposit upon check in.

Who would bring so much extra cash for a 3D2N trip!?
We brought only 500RM for the whole trip.
If we were to give away the 200RM we will starve on the third day. -.-

Neither do we have credit cards. It caused us to panicked.
Thanks WTS Travel.

The counter staff face turned black and attitude begin to sucks when we told her we do not have RM200.
She then slam the paper in front of us and ask us to sign for the room.
Told us we couldn't ask for any room services. Zzz.

Fine, as long as I get to check in. Whatever you said bitch.

My mood turn for the better when we open the door to our room.

It's super big! Come with a living room and a separate bedroom.
O.O totally didn't expect that.
After all we booked the cheapest room and they gave us a King Suite.

The room is too comfortable. We don't even bear to leave.
Wash up and headed out finally for lunch.

The lift also atas O.O have to insert the room card before you can select your floor.
Berjaya Times Square is just beside our hotel, 5 mins walking distance. 8)

Berjaya Times Square has an indoor theme park, arcade, bowling and 2 cinemas.
Said to be the biggest shopping mall in KL.

We were hungry so we went to the basement to look for food.
Lots of choices but we settled down at a Korea restaurant named SOPOONG.

Spent less than SGD$20 for the meal.
Food was awesome.

Went for yogurt after lunch~

DIY~

It was expensive, but nice. (Had the blackcurrent flavour)
Cost around SGD$8 for a cup. x_x

Walked around the mall, quite meaningless because the top floors are empty. (No shops at all)
And the lift takes FOREVER to come down.

P and I decided to have a slow and easy trip, instead of a shopping spree.
So those shops with beautiful dresses are transparent to me.
We went to the theme park but nothing interest us.

So we decided to visit the Chinatown.
Took monorail at imbi station.

P asking for directions.
The uncle told us we can alight at Maharajalela station and turn left then we will be able to see the Chinatown.

Unfortunately it was raining but we brought umbrella. ^^
We got lost and went into a nearby 7-11 store and asked for directions.

The rain stopped when we reached.
Shops are full of fake branded bags and shoes.

Not interested. Lol.
So we proceeded to the food area.
Settled down in a Seafood eatery called Roland~

We ordered sharkfin soup to drink there and packed the rest back to our hotel.
I really hate smokers inside an enclosed area where people is eating. -.-

Wa, super thumbs up.
The shark fin filled half the bowl.
The other half was crab meat. MEGA LOVES.

Took a cab back for only RM10~
Bargain king is P.

Beautiful night view from our living room window. :D
We sat in the living room eating awesome seafood and watching soccer.
BEST TRIP EVER.

Salt egg crab! (It's a pity they don't have chili crab.)
But this is equally good. Not too salty and dry!
But Sg crab nicer. :x

Curry leaves sotong~
Super nice! Might be more crispy if we had it over the shop.

Chili Lala~
Super nice. Unlike sg, they don't serve only empty shells. lol.

Sweet & sour pork. P's favorite since our Genting trip.
Nice also. But I don't like pork. Haha.

Spent SGD$50 for everything including the shark fin! :))
Awesome or what. Shark Fin was the most expensive.
RM30 for a bowl~ But it was worth it.

Bath and watched movie inside the room and turn in for the day!

The only thing I bought for Day One.
Self controlling I can has.

Paradise Dynasty

Out dating with Wifey Tian & GF WL.
Tian introduced us to a restaurant located at ION.

Paradise Dynasty
ION Orchard #04-12A
2 Orchard Turn
Singapore 238801

They don't allow reservation.
So we rushed there immediately after work.
There was no queue at all and in fact was quite empty.

The place looks atas,

But the pricing were reasonable.
As for the tea, it sucks, tasteless and not hot.

We ordered 3 "Signature 8 flavour Xiao Long Bao",

All of them taste quite the same to me.
Not really mind blowing and the pink one sucks.
It's too spicy! I couldn't take another bite after the first.

Overall 6.5/10

 2 plates of fried dumplings,

Ordered both the one with vege & non vege.
The one without vege actually taste a lot better.

Skin quite dry and not really smooth.

Overall 5/10

Fried soya noodles,

Okay, this is one of the better dish.
I had 3 refills on my bowl.

The noodles are really good.

Overall 8/10

Seafood fried rice,

Generous with the amount of prawns and scallops.
Not really the most fragance fried rice I've had.
But definitely worth the money for the ingredients.

Overall 6/10

And last but not least red bean bun as dessert.

This sucks.
There's banana and red bean paste inside.
Too sweet and dry.
Hard to swallow.

Apparently it's a wrong order -.-

Tian accidentally "ticked" it.

3/10..-.-

Total bill came up to $90.

The food isn't really good,

Service SUCKS.

The waitress refuse to refill our tea.

And start to clear our table when we have not even finish the food.

I mean it's not like you have this fucking long queue outside,

Waiting to be seated.
It's EMPTY @8pm.

So my advice is, if you're looking for a place to chill after work,

Don't go to this place.
They intend to drive people out before you could actually enjoy your food.

But still, had lots of fun chatting with my two darlings.

Nice and cosy cafe located at the shop house beside the temple.

The shop was empty and we choose to sit at the end of the shop.

After deciding, I decided to go for grilled salmon!

P ordered terriyaki chicken don.

Best.Salmon.Ever.

It is really the most awesome salmon I've ever had, period.
I would like to have another one now. :x

P's chicken don is pretty normal but good.

Basically the food there is really awesome.

I ordered the dirt cake, really cool cake.
And P ordered brownie with ice cream for dessert.

But we canceled the dessert last min and foot the bill.

The workers a bit inconsiderate.

They watched shows via their Ipad and max the volume.
Sat next to our table and laugh out loud.

I would really appreciate a quiet place to dine in.

Next time then.

Spent $30 for two. :)

Worth it!
